‘Understanding and Supporting Primary School Students with Maths Anxiety’ 

MIC Limerick in collaboration with the Mathematical Resilience Network (MRN) – Ireland, will host a free in-person afternoon workshop titled:

‘Understanding and Supporting Primary School Students with Maths Anxiety’ 

on Tuesday October 28th (1.30-4.30pm)

The vision for the workshop is to inform and equip teachers and support staff to help students overcome their fears around maths. We are delighted to welcome a distinguished panel of speakers who will share their expertise on topics relating to maths anxiety in the primary school setting, including: 

  • Building mathematical resilience among learners
  • Maths Mastery strategies for the struggling student
  • How to support disadvantaged mathematics learners
  • Supporting the maths anxious teacher.

This is a free event but you will need to pre-register at this link. The workshop starts at 1.30pm and we aim to finish by 4.30pm, with a coffee break just before 3pm.
