During this session we look at how anxiety is experienced in a number of different forms. We look at how anxiety affects memory, learning, concentration, social skills and general wellbeing.
A better understanding of school-based anxiety can allow staff to better support those experiencing anxiety.
Bio of Presenter: Muireann Sadlier

'With over two decades of experience in supporting educators, Muireann brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to the education webinars and courses. Her journey has encompassed roles within the Department of Education and Support Services, where developing expertise in various areas, including ADHD, EBD, ASD, Behaviour Management, Anxiety Management, Stress Management and Regulation Procedures. Through tailored training sessions, she empowers teachers, SNAs and families to comprehend the nuanced needs of neurodiverse individuals across childhood, adolescence, and young adulthood. Additionally, her specialisation extends to fostering communication development and implementing effective well-being strategies for children, adolescents, and young adults, ensuring holistic support for their growth and flourishing".
