Webinar 1: An introduction to Sensory Integration - 16th November @ 7pm
This webinar will act as an introduction to sensory integration theory and provide participants with insight into common sensory profiles, concepts and strategies to get you started on your sensory journey. We will pay particular attention to exploring our 8 senses and supporting participants to identify sensory needs. 

Webinar 2: Creating a Sensory Diet - 23rd November @ 7pm
This webinar is all about taking sensory theory and putting it into action! How do we design a programme of intervention that is meaningful and provides regulation. We will discuss how to identify a student's specific sensory needs and how to match sensory activities to these needs. We will discuss case studies and focus on practical strategies that you can implement straight away. 

Webinar 3: Sensory Spaces and Sensory Environments  - 30th November @ 7pm
This webinar will focus on the sensory environment and how we can make sensory adaptations and changes to meet children's specific sensory needs. There will also be a focus on designing sensory spaces, including sensory rooms with practical advice. We will allow plenty of opportunity for questions too. 

Bio of Presenter: Liath Sheehan

Occupational Therapist, BSc OT, PGCERT CBT

Liath Sheehan is an Occupational Therapist based in North Cork. She works with children and adolescents from 0-18. She is currently undertaking a PhD in the area of Developmental Coordination Disorder. Her passion is providing child-led therapy that focuses on building independence and involves a child’s entire support system.

She has completed additional training in sensory integration, cognitive behavioral therapy, feeding therapy and mindfulness for children with additional needs.
