Time: 7pm - 8pm
Venue: Online Via Zoom
Introducing Issue 2 of ‘Full STEAM Ahead’ – a magazine for all Primary Teachers with suggested STEAM topics for each class level focusing on promoting ‘Critical Thinking’
During this webinar, the authors of ’Full STEAM Ahead – Issue 2’ will highlight STEAM lessons for each class level and explain their personal strategies and methodologies for exploring these lessons with their classes.
This webinar will provide you with practical approaches and skills to delve into STEAM lessons with your pupils.
The authors will take lessons from the magazine and explore them with a view to their direct application in the classroom. Four STEAM lessons will be showcased (one from each of four different class levels), demonstrating the many ways in which these topics can be developed with classes.
The lessons are practical and high on pupil motivation, engagement and collaboration. The presenters will highlight how they engage pupils in critical thinking with examples from their own classrooms.
The webinar will appeal to all Primary teachers regardless of previous experience with STEAM lessons.
In conjunction with our Erasmus+ STEAMING Project, Clare Education Centre is delighted to launch Issue 2 of our ‘Full STEAM Ahead’ for Primary Teachers. The magazine is filled with practical STEAM lessons all based around the skill of ‘Critical Thinking’. The magazine has been developed by a group of teachers who meet regularly to share good practice and ideas for teaching through STEAM. In addition to the magazine, the participating teachers have developed STEAM challenges for Primary Schools and have delivered a number of webinars to teachers on STEAM methodologies, skills, strategies and resources. They have also participated in STEAM Teachmeets and contributed to the development of case studies for the STEAMING Erasmus+ project.
