This workshop aims to demystify the assessment process and help attendees to make sense of Occupational Therapy reports:
The workshop will include:
- Practical demonstrations of common assessment tools and a talk through of common assessment processes.
- Examples of reports and recommendations with explanation.
- a format for observing a child in the classroom and guidelines for relevant information needed by OT
BIO:

Liath Sheehan is an Occupational Therapist based in North Cork. Liath works with children and adolescents from 0-18. Liath is currently undertaking a PhD in the area of Developmental Coordination Disorder. Liath’s passion is providing child-led therapy that focuses on building independence and involves a child’s entire support system.
Liath has completed additional training in sensory integration, cognitive behavioral therapy, feeding therapy and mindfulness for children with additional needs.
