21TRA363 Approaches for Teaching Primary Geography Outdoors

In a year where we have seen examples of primary teachers leading the way with teaching in the outdoors, this webinar aims to share some examples to highlight how the primary Geography curriculum can be integrated in the outdoor classroom. The webinar will place an emphasis on teaching about the local natural environment and include ideas for teaching mapping, rivers and oceans, and using children’s literature to inspire learning in the outdoors.

This webinar takes place in advance of the ‘Outdoor Classroom Day’ on May 20th: a global movement to make time outdoors part of every child’s day.
