Target Audience: Teachers of LC Business particularly those teaching the new specification

By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to plan for effective teaching and learning using the new Leaving Cert Business specification, select and implement active learning methodologies that enhance student engagement and understanding, support students in setting up and using an investigative folder effectively, and create opportunities for students to apply their learning in practical and meaningful ways.

Bio of Presenter: Helena Jacob

Helena Jacob is the owner of the social media account @LCBusinessJC and author of Lead & Succeed, a textbook specifically written for the new Leaving Certificate Business specification. She teaches Senior Cycle Business and Accounting, Transition Year Business, and Junior Cycle Business, and is passionate about making business education clear, engaging, and accessible for all students. Helena holds a Bachelor of Business Studies and a Master’s in Accountancy from Waterford Institute of Technology, as well as a Professional Diploma in Education from Hibernia College.
