This webinar will provide school leaders and educators with a step-by-step guide on successfully organising and running a Summer Programme.
Drawing on practical experience, it will cover key aspects such as:
- Structuring the programme around a theme to enhance engagement
- Effectively incorporating student voice in the planning process
- Recruiting the right teachers, including practical subject teachers for variety
- Communicating with parents and staff for smooth operation
- Adapting and modifying activities to meet students' needs
By the end of the session, participants will have a clear roadmap for designing a programme that builds student confidence, fosters relationships, and supports successful transitions.
Bio of Presenter: Annmarie Bergin

Annmarie Bergin is the Deputy Principal of Scoil Ruáin, with extensive experience in organizing and leading the Summer Programme. She also works as a part-time facilitator for Oide, supporting professional development in education.
