There will be training specifically for Deis schools organised by Navan & Dublin West Education Support Centres in the coming weeks. Please keep an eye on their websites.
This training is designed to assist school staff to provide a school-based summer programme to support children and young people to move forward in their learning by ‘Building Confidence and Connections’. The focus will be on exploring the guiding principles of the Summer Programme, highlighting practical strategies and resources that will support a holistic experience for children and young people to develop and strengthen their connections with school and peers.
The training will be facilitated by NEPS and the NCSE. It will be hosted live via zoom, consisting of a presentation and Q&A. To support schools to run the programme attendees will have access to a NCSE Padlet containing accompanying resources and links.
