A mixed ability classroom can often be a daunting place when it comes to facilitating student learning and providing feedback to moving their learning forward. The new junior cycle curriculum puts a big focus on students actively engaging with the subject content. This webinar will provide an overview of some simple and active AFL strategies that can be adapted for any subject content.
This Webinar is suitable for any Teacher at post primary level. Participants will come away with effective, time saving stategies to assist in the assessment of all students learning within their classroom.
Bio of Presenter: Naomi Pierce

Naomi is a Teacher of Science, Biology and Chemistry in Avondale Community College, Co. Wicklow. She is a placement tutor for DCU and is currently studying a Masters of Art in Teaching and Learning in SETU. Naomi has experience in teaching in both a private and DEIS setting. She is the owner of the Instagram account @the_science_teacher_where she shares an insight into her everyday teaching and learning, showcasing resources that she uses from other accounts and websites as well as content that she has created herself.
