SPEAKER: Gary Creaton
My name is Gary Creaton and I am currently teaching in St. Raphaels College in Loughrea in County Galway. I’m a young teacher but have taught religion in both and exam and non exam capacity every year since I left Mater Dei. Previously to this I have taught in St. Mary’s college in Naas and St. Wolstans CS in Celbridge. Engaging in diverse and obscure topics is something I have always done in the non exam RE classroom (scheme of work and appropriateness to the maturity of student permitting) as these classes give us the opportunity to offer a scope to students they maybe be otherwise unaware or misinformed of. I really hope you join us on these information evenings and I really hope it’s of a benefit to all of you.
