Description:
Teacher and author, Robert John Meehan once said 'The most valuable resource that all teachers have is each other'. Firmly believing this, Amy will share inspiration and visual aids for bulletin boards and tips for creativity in the classroom with fellow educators. She will also be sharing the importance of student clubs in schools and how they can embrace their own creativity in the post-primary classroom with the direction of their teacher.

Bio of Presenter: Amy Dignam

Amy Dignam completed her Bachelor of Religious Education and History in Mater Dei Institute of Education, graduating in 2015. She completed her Masters in Post-Primary Education with a First Class Honours in Mater Dei 2016. She has passionately taught in the same school since she graduated college.
As well as teaching a range of subjects including ICT, RSE and Lifeskills, Amy is Self-School Evaluation Co-ordinator in an APII role, Staff Digital Team leader and basketball coach. She has also established two successful clubs in the school; Student Digital Club and the History Students Society.
Amy runs her Twitter and Instagram accounts @5j16MsDignam where she consistently shares resources and ideas with fellow educators including a variety of tips regarding how to be more creative at post-primary level, technology, and teaching.
