Date: Tuesday 22nd March 2022
Time: 7 pm - 8 pm
Venue: Online via Zoom
This Webinar has been developed to enable teachers to explore and discuss what a census is, why we fill in the census on Census Night and how this information is used in shaping communities and society in Ireland into the future with their students.
These resources were designed by practising teachers and are aligned to the current specifications. The Webinar will show how Census information helps to shape and reform our communities and society through policy related to all aspects of our lives. The resources have been written to engage and inspire students to be curious and interested in interpreting, evaluating, gathering, recording and analysing data as a way of understanding our ever-changing world.
