Formative is a FREE device neutral formative assessment tool that can be used for any subject area and is particularly useful for languages. It allows teachers to gather formative assessment information from a group of students. It can be used live and teachers can assess students on the spot, or it can be used for homework.  

Bio of Presenter - Pearl Heneghan

Pearl is an experienced Spanish and French teacher currently based in Co. Sligo She has lived 5 years in various parts of Spain as well as having traveled throughout South and Central America. She has a passion for engaging her students in the use of digital technologies to enhance their learning and also has a special interest in student motivation. She has previously worked as a PDST techinEd facilitator and is currently an associate with the PPLI.
