26TRA205 Recognising Early Signs of Dysregulation in the Classroom …and What to Do in the Moment (Autism LevelUP)
Dates: Monday 26th January 2026
Time: 7.00 - 8.15 pm
Venue: Online via Zoom
Target Audience: Primary School Teachers & SNAs
Helps staff notice the subtle, early cues that a student is starting to struggle—before shutdowns, refusals, or meltdowns appear. Using real teacher questions (“Why does he start yelling when I put something on the class screen?”), we look at quick, in-the-moment supports: declarative language, co-regulation, and simple sensory adjustments. Teachers are introduced to the Autism Level UP! regulation tool as a shared language for energy and regulation states.
