Join us online to experience “Research and Exploration in the Visual Art classroom”.
The purpose of this Elective Workshop is to support teachers of Visual Art and their students in continuing to develop their understanding of the rationale for, and the role of research and exploration in the Visual Art Classroom.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Consider what it means to place the student at the centre of the educational experience in the Visual Art classroom.
- Think about how student voice and choice can be facilitated by exploring themes and selecting primary sources.
- Examine the role of visual culture and appreciation in research and exploration.
- Consider methodologies which may develop an understanding of the creative process.
