22TRA438 Rethinking Literacy Interventions - Using Assessment To Inform Our Practice In The Junior Classes (P)
Date: Monday, 21 November 2022
Time: 7 pm - 8.15 pm
Venue: Online via Zoom
“The use of early-intervention and prevention programmes helps mitigate the development of learning, social and emotional difficulties” (SEN Guidelines, 2017, p.14).
This webinar will focus on how we can best use our time for early interventions in the junior classes. The impact of Covid-19 is evident in every classroom and it is time to rethink our interventions to help bridge those gaps. Doing what we have always done just because we have always done it is no longer serving our pupils. This webinar will be of interest to anyone who would like ideas on how to refine their school-based Literacy Interventions so that identified gaps in learning can be targeted, particularly for those at School Support Level.
