Executive functioning is the process which allows us to plan, focus our attention, remember instructions and multitask. It also plays a key role in self control and regulation. 
 
This workshop will explore Executive Functioning skills, what they are, why they matter and how to support children with EF difficulties.
 
BIO:

LIATH SHEEHAN

Liath Sheehan is an Occupational Therapist based in North Cork. Liath works with children and adolescents from 0-18. Liath is currently undertaking a PhD in the area of Developmental Coordination Disorder. Liath’s passion is providing child-led therapy that focuses on building independence and involves a child’s entire support system.

Liath has completed additional training in sensory integration, cognitive behavioral therapy, feeding therapy and mindfulness for children with additional needs.
