Date:     Tuesday 26th May 2026
Time:     7.00 - 8.00 pm

Target Audience: Post Primary Teachers running a summer programme

This is not an information session for the Deis Literacy & Numeracy Summer Camps. Further details in relation to these camps can be found by contacting Navan/Dublin West Education Support Centres.

This webinar will provide school leaders and educators with a step-by-step guide on successfully organising and running a Summer Programme.

Drawing on practical experience, it will cover key aspects such as:

  • Structuring the programme around a theme to enhance engagement.
  • Effectively incorporating student voice in the planning process, including practical subject teachers for variety, communicating with parents and staff for smooth operation.
  • Adapting and modifying activities to meet student needs.

By the end of the session, participants will have a clear roadmap for designing and implementing a Summer Programme that builds student confidence, fosters relationships, and supports successful transitions.
