Target Audience: Post-primary Teachers and Support Staff seeking immediate, measurable improvements in Supporting Teens with ADHD in inclusive, compassionate classrooms.

Join a clinical specialist occupational therapist with lived ADHD experience for a concise, two-part webinar series designed for Post-Primary teachers.

Part 1 covers what ADHD is in teens and understanding Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria (RSD), plus practical, ready-to-use classroom strategies.

Part 2 dives into diverse learning styles, meeting the whole-person needs of teens with ADHD, and creating pathways for them to flourish, all while modelling self-compassion and sustainable self-care for educators.

Learning outcomes (for both parts):

  • Recognise ADHD signs in adolescents and identify RSD triggers and responses.
  • Apply clear, realistic classroom adjustments and routines to reduce distress and boost engagement.
  • Supportive teaching methods to multiple ADHD learning profiles and provide feasible accommodations.
  • Use strength-based feedback to foster motivation, resilience, and self-efficacy.
  • Practice self-compassion and practical self-care to sustain effective support.

Padraig Danaher is a Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist and Psychological Coach with over 15 years of experience supporting teenagers and adults through complex adversity and psychological challenges. Since 2011, Padraig has specialised in trauma, a strengths-based approach and attachment, guiding clients to reclaim meaning and purpose in their lives.

As the founder of The OT Coach practice, Padraig leads a team of experienced occupational therapists delivering holistic interventions across community and clinical settings. His approach is rooted in person-centred care, emphasising connectedness, hope, identity, meaningful roles, and empowerment. He is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel truly understood, seen, and heard.

Through evidence-based therapeutic strategies, Padraig facilitates adaptive occupational engagement, helping individuals navigate adverse experiences, restore their sense of self, and reconnect with their community.
