Target Audience: Post Primary Religion Teachers

In this webinar, it will explore how religion and politics are so intertwined in society even in the modern day. It will explore a number of different nations and the way they use or don’t use religion to advance their own political ambitions. It is totally objective but still gives an opportunity to either praise or be critical of its use.

Bio of Presenter: Gary Creaton

Gary Creaton has been teaching English, Religion and IT since 2017. He is currently teaching in St. Nathy’s College, Ballaghderreen, Roscommon and doing a Masters in Educational Leadership currently in Maynooth. This will be his second series of webinars in RE and all resources from the previous one can be emailed to you after these sessions are over.
