The aim of this webinar is to introduce the idea of establishing a community of practice for teachers who work or will be working with students at a “support for few” level who display behaviours of concern.

Bio of Presenter: Lorraine Treacy
Lorraine is a Post Primary Geography & English teacher with over 10 years experience in a variety of school settings teaching all year groups and levels including L2LP and JCSP. She has completed a B.A in Geography and English, MSc(Agr) and Professional Diploma in Education. She has a keen interest in Behavior and has experience in creating initiatives for students who are displaying behaviours of concern, in particular those who receive individualised and specialised support under the Continuum of Support framework.
Bio of Presenter: Dee Keane
Dee has been a Post Primary teacher for 13 years, with 10 of those years spent working in a SET role. Dee qualified as a Home Economics and Religious Education teacher and followed this with a Master of Arts in Professional Studies in SEN from St. Angela's College. As a passionate, lifelong reader Dee focused her Master’s research on group reading interventions in a DEIS post primary setting. From there she has continued to upskill in vast area of literacy. Dee has created the popular Instagram page @post_primary_resource_teacher this academic year which shares ideas, strategies and resources for teachers in a SET role.
