21TRA479 Using Podcasts in the LC Classroom

In this webinar I will discuss how I use podcasts and documentaries at senior cycle in the English classroom to engage and motivate students. I will talk about why they are worth studying as a non-fiction text and how they can be used to create engaging writing activities from paper 1 and to build comparative writing skills. In particualr this webinar will focus on the podcast Serial and the documentary Blackfish, but a further list of recommended texts is also provided and discussed.
