No two children are the same, and no two brain injuries are the same. So, teaching a student with an Acquired Brain Injury can seem daunting. This workshop considers key needs such as fatigue, attention, interaction, memory, communication and motivation, and provides information on the multifaceted needs of children and young people with Acquired Brain Injury and how these needs can be met in the classroom. This workshop will help you to:
- Understand the difficulties that young people with an Acquired Brain Injury experience.
- Support these students by using appropriate strategies to support their learning.
- Understand and address the social and emotional difficulties experienced by these students.
