Mobile apps are perhaps the most accessible form of assistive technology. Most students at second level and up have access to a smartphone and a huge range of apps, most with free options, is now available. However, the choice can be overwhelming, and guidance from educators is essential for students to identify and use the apps which will benefit them most.
This workshop will demonstrate some of the apps which students at MTU have found most useful to support their study. Participants will be invited to share their own experiences of using mobile apps at other stages of the education system.
Who should attend?
Teachers and SNAs: primary, secondary and FE, students and parents
