In recent years, the Junior Cycle History exam has placed a greater emphasis on students’ ability to think critically. Critical thinking and knowledge acquisition go hand in hand. By analysing and breaking down information, critical thinkers
gain a deeper understanding of the subject matter. The history classroom provides us with ample opportunities to develop these critical thinking skills. In this webinar, we will explore straightforward, practical, age-appropriate ways to implement critical thinking in the junior cycle history classroom.
