Your Inner Toolkit: Mental Strength for All School Personnel (P) (PP) (SNA) (EY)

Date:      Thursday, 24th September 2026
Time:      7pm to 8.00pm
Venue:   Online via Zoom

Target Audience:  Primary and Post Primary Teachers, SNAs and Early Years Educators

Working in education requires sustained emotional, cognitive and relational effort. In an increasingly uncertain, complex and demanding environment, we need practical, evidence-based tools to support our own mental strength and wellbeing.

This webinar introduces participants to a practical inner toolkit grounded in psychological science. It creates space to pause, reflect and build awareness of the habits, mindsets and relationships that support resilience, purpose and wellbeing in day-to-day school life. The session combines research-informed input with reflective activities, supporting participants to apply learning in realistic and manageable ways.

Learning Goals

By the end of the session, participants will:

  1. Understand mental strength in practice
Gain a clear, evidence-based understanding of where mental strength comes from, and the positive impact on our levels of resilience, stress and everyday coping within educational contexts.
  2. Strengthen inner psychological resources
Explore key elements of our inner toolkit, including meaning and purpose, self-compassion, optimism, strengths awareness and mindfulness.  Participants will also learn how small, practical actions can support confidence, wellbeing and emotional regulation at work.
  3. Understand the importance of relationships to our mental strength.
Recognise the role of positive relationships in sustaining mental strength.
