Session Goals

During the session we will cover:

The role of science in executive function skills:

Participants will learn how key brain processes, especially in the prefrontal cortex, influence timemanagement and productivity, particularly through functions like working memory, cognitive flexibility,and emotional regulation.
Your own personal strengths and challenges in relation to your executive function: Participants will reflect on their own executive  functioning skills (such as planning, organisation, and task initiation), recognising areas where they excel and areas where they may struggle. 

Neuroscience-based strategies to improve time management: Participants will explore and practice practical, brain-friendly time management techniques (such as task chunking,  getting started routines, the Pomodoro method, body doubling and prioritisation) that can enhance both personal and professional productivity.

Presenter: Emma Lynch

Emma Lynch is a positive psychology practitioner, wellbeing facilitator and career and life transition coach. Emma’s work focuses on supporting  individuals through group workshops and 1-1 coaching to find the clarity, direction and goals they need to thrive in both work and life. Emma has a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology and is accredited by the EMCC.

Emma also combines her experience in positive psychology and coaching psychology with a 13 year career in human resources.
