24TRA177 Restorative Practices and Special Education
Date: Monday, 8th April 2024
Time: 7 - 8pm
Venue: Online via Zoom
Restorative Practices has a long established and proven track record in mainstream education. What’s not so well known however is the many adaptations that have been made for use in the special education needs sector (and what’s even less known again is the fact that many of these same adaptations are exactly what is needed in mainstream). This webinar, with the aid of an SEN educator, will fill both your RP and your SEN application “buckets”.
Speakers - Joe Power & Paige Franklin
Joe Power is an independent RP trainer/facilitator and a Quality Specialist with CDI Tallaght. He was previously Development Officer for Limerick and has worked with dozens of schools, both primary and secondary from one off Croke Park sessions to whole school implementation. He also employs the values and skills of RP in his own life.
Paige Franklin is an SNA in St. Patrick's Comprehensive School, Shannon and RP trainer. She has trained dozens of staff in her school, as well as being the RP coordinator for ongoing development.
