Childhood patterns of the Enneagram

This course looks at the 9 different childhood patterns that develop within families.  We will look at and discuss some of the different family dynamics.  It explains, in as much as possible, how each child adapts and finds their place within the family system.  We will also discuss the various areas of emotional development which the child confronts and how they negotiate or are unable to.

To part-take in this course, a good knowledge of the Enneagram is necessary.

Advantages of this course

  • Demonstrates the amazing awareness and survival strategies of children and how they adapt to the circumstances within a family they grow up in.
  • Highlights awareness that family relationships can play a significant role in how the child responds and reacts to situations.
  • Heightens awareness of our own childhood and the issues which were encountered.
  • Gives an appreciation that a child is not the product of a family, but family dynamics  play a significant role in the formation of the child's personality.
  • Gives a great appreciation of the awareness of infants and young children; how they are continuingly learning from those around them.

IT IS ESSENTIAL TO KNOW THE BASICS OF THE ENNEAGRAM TO PART-TAKE IN THIS COURSE.
