This session will focus on integrating educational technology into classroom pedagogy. The webinar will focus on optimising the use of educational technology within post-primary pedagogy across a range of subjects at junior and senior cycle. The session will include an overview and brief introduction to the use of Microsoft Forms, Microsoft Teams, Miro boards, Nearpod, Kahoot Mentimeter and more within post-primary pedagogy.

Dr. Melanie Ní Dhuinn, Assistant Professor of Teacher Education in the School of Education, Trinity College Dublin
Dr. Melanie Ní Dhuinn is an Assistant Professor of Teacher Education in the School of Education, Trinity College Dublin. Melanie works across Teacher Education (B.Mus Ed and PME), Master of Education (M.Ed) and Doctorate (D.Ed and PhD) courses in the School of Education. She is an external examiner on a number of Teacher Education programmes in Irish HEIs and is a member of the Teaching Council (HEI representative). Her research interests are in Teacher Education, Educational Technology, An Ghaeilge mar Mheán Teagaisc, Teacher Induction, Research Methodologies, Inclusive Education and Physical Education. She is the Post Primary lead researcher on the DEEPEN research project on the Droichead Teacher Induction process. Melanie is a qualified post primary Physical Education and Gaeilge teacher and taught at all levels in post-primary schools before working in Teacher Education.
